Text of Danish publication	?208. Der var en Nisse i Lægaard, og han skulde hver Juleaften have Sødgrød med Smør i, og fik han ikke nok, var han ond. Han gik til Vester-Mølle om Natten, og en Morgen fandt Manden i Tran- kjær hans Vante, og den tog han med sig hjem. Den var saa forfær- delig stor. Næste Nat kom Nissen til Vinduet og sagde: »Vante og Ven! giv mig min Vante igjen, ellers den største og bedste af dine Heste i Stalden er.« Saa smed han Vanten ud til ham. Bertel Krog, v.-Hassing.
