Text of Danish publication	?838. Der boede en Gaardmand i Solskov, Øster-Snede Sogn, som de kaldte den gamle Simon. Han blev forhegset og svandt helt hen og blev mindre og mindre. Til sidst søgte de Raad hos den kloge Mand i Sillesthule. Han sagde, at de skulde kaste en Stud levende ned i en Grav i deres Port, og det blev saa gjort, og saa kom Manden sig.
