Förste pintsedag om aftenen afbrændes en ild på höjene på Ty holm, mest på de steder, som ligger nærmest Harsyssel, eller de steder, der ligger på den søndre side af Tyholm. Den ild kaldes pints- æækild. I Salling og i Harsyssel afbrændes lignende blus på höjene lige overfor Tyholm. H. Bering.
