Text of Danish publication	271. Det går ud og ind ligesom kong Vallemos's rumpe, siger folk i Öst- og Midtsjælland om noget, der bugter sig uskjönt. Efter de gamles sigende kom nævnte udtryk frem i Valdemar Atterdags tid, da han fra Nord- sjællaud til Vordingborg anlagde en landevej gjennem den østlige del af øen. Vejen bugtede sig uden om hindringer som bakker og moser og blev af folk kaldet Vallemos's rumpe. Henrik Pedersen, Maribo amtstue.
