Knud Pedersen, Stensby mark, gik ved 1860 på vejen i Dallunds mark og møder der en stor höj, sort mand med en 4 alen lang stang rundjærn i hånden Den fulgte ham til Stensby mark, og da stod den sorte stille. Da sagde Knud god-nat, og så svarede den sorte: "God-nat, min ven!" jakob rasmussen.
